Curriculum

Gr.1-9

We are using the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum. It is CAPS compliant and Bible based. The system is Mastery-based which means learners master a concept before they continue. They therefore continue building on firm foundations. They set their own pace, but we set a minimum standard to ensure that they complete the required work in time. They can however work faster and we encourage that if they are able. They cover the same subjects as government schools and can transition back into the state system should they need to.

Curriculum

Gr.10-12

Our Grade 10 - 12 learners make use of the Think Digital Academy online curriculum. At the end of their Grade 12 year, they write their external exams after which they will obtain their NSC certificates.
Learners work on their personal laptops with Wifi provided by the school. All lessons are “taught” online and are facilitated and monitored by an Eden School educator.
